Seahenge was pretty cool but I wouldn't mind traveling to New York to see Manhattenhenge haha.
I realize that we have moved on from Ancient Egyptian art, but this news article seemed neat. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2008/02/080215-egypt-coffin.html
I couldn't finish watching the Museum clip talking about how great their collection of Greek art was. I don't really like how museums are in such competition to have the best collection. Ruins the art almost.
BUT the videos about the Parthenon were cool. I really liked the second video and how they had the dramatic camera view panning the relief sculpture. However I thought it was funny when they had the reenactment with the two women coming into the temple with offerings for Athena. I thought only priests would be allowed in there. Probably not women.

I'm basically in love with La Mezquita in Cordona. I love the horseshoe arches. they almost look like keyholes.
I was looking up images of hindu gods (for an idea in another class) and found this: http://floortwo.wordpress.com/2007/11/05/toddler-with-eight-limbs-branded-reincarnation-of-hindu-god-to-undergo-life-saving-operation/
since we are on the subject in class- thought this was.. disturbingly interesting.
